Adventures Designed for Elementary-Aged Kids!

After School Adventures are thoughtfully planned to give children a fun, active, and enriching way to end their school day. Rather than spending the afternoon indoors, children enjoy a balance of outdoor play, creative activities, homework support, life skills, and community adventures that keep them engaged and connected. Whether we’re visiting a local park, exploring the library, creating hands-on projects, playing group games, or discovering places around the Rogue Valley, each afternoon is designed to encourage friendship, independence, confidence, and curiosity. Our small-group setting provides a safe, welcoming environment where children can relax after school, make lasting memories, and continue learning through play and real-world experiences.

Parent Communication

As a parent myself, I know how reassuring it is to know what’s happening throughout your child’s day. That’s why I believe in keeping families connected. You’ll receive photos and updates so you can share in your child’s experiences, discoveries, and accomplishments.
On days we leave AWF Home Base for an adventure, I’ll send a notification when we depart and another when we’ve safely returned. My goal is to provide open communication and peace of mind, so you always know where your child is and how their day is going.

  • Daily updates
  • Photos (with permission)
  • Open communication
  • Partnership with families

Safety & Care You Can Trust

With a background in nursing, safety, attentiveness, and care are always a top priority. From daily routines to outings, children are closely supervised in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

Built Around Real Adventures

I’ve always loved taking my own children on adventures—whether it’s the park, the museum, the pool, or a fun day at the Family Fun Center. Those moments of exploring, playing, and discovering are what childhood should be about.

That’s where this program began.

I wanted to create a space where other children could experience those same kinds of adventures during their day—while their parents are at work. Instead of a typical childcare setting, kids get to explore, move, and make memories in a fun and engaging way.

A Day the After-School Adventure Program
